HubSpot integration

CRM · by SynqSlot (Dynam Ideas Corp.)

Every booking creates or updates the HubSpot contact and logs a Meeting on their timeline — automatically, with no field mapping to maintain.

Installing

About a minute. Works with any HubSpot account, including the free CRM.

  1. 1

    Sign in to SynqSlot

You need a SynqSlot account (15-day free trial, no card) and a HubSpot account where you can install apps — Super Admin, or a user with App Marketplace access permissions.

  2. 2

Open Integrations and click Connect HubSpot

Dashboard → Advanced tools → Integrations & apps → HubSpot → Connect. You are sent to HubSpot's authorization screen. If you belong to several HubSpot accounts, pick the one that should receive your bookings.

  3. 3

    Approve the three permissions

SynqSlot asks to read contacts, write contacts, and write meetings — nothing else. Click Connect app. HubSpot sends you back to SynqSlot and the card shows "Connected" with your HubSpot account name.

  4. 4

Installing from the HubSpot App Marketplace instead

Click Install app on SynqSlot's Marketplace listing. You are taken to SynqSlot; sign in (or start a trial) and the authorization screen above appears. Both routes end with the same connection.

Configuring

There is almost nothing to configure — that is the point.

  1. 1

    Nothing to map

The integration is on for every booking link in your account as soon as it is connected. There are no field mappings to maintain: the invitee's name, email, company and job title go to the standard HubSpot contact properties with the same names.

  2. 2

Optional: collect company and title on the booking page

Dashboard → Booking links → open a link → "Ask for company and job title" (on by default). If an invitee fills them in, they are written to the contact; if not, existing values in HubSpot are left untouched.

  3. 3

    Teams

HubSpot is connected per SynqSlot user. For round-robin and panel bookings, the meeting is logged through the assigned host's connection. If a host has not connected HubSpot, that booking is simply not logged — nothing fails.

Using it

What happens in HubSpot on each booking event.

  1. 1

    Someone books

SynqSlot searches HubSpot for a contact with the invitee's email. If one exists it is updated (only the fields the invitee provided); if not, a new contact is created. Then a Meeting engagement is logged on the contact's timeline with the booking title, start and end time, and outcome Scheduled.

  2. 2

    Reschedules and cancellations

These are not written back to HubSpot today: the logged Meeting keeps its original time and outcome, and the contact is left untouched. The calendar invite, confirmation emails and reminders are updated by SynqSlot as usual. Writing reschedules and cancellations to the Meeting is on the roadmap.

  3. 3

    If something fails

A HubSpot outage, a rate limit or a revoked token never blocks the booking. The booking completes, the invitee gets their confirmation, and the Integrations card shows "Reconnect" if HubSpot rejected the connection. Click Reconnect and approve again.

Disconnecting and uninstalling

Either place works; both revoke SynqSlot's access. Nothing already written to HubSpot is deleted.

  1. 1

    From SynqSlot

Dashboard → Integrations & apps → HubSpot → Disconnect. SynqSlot revokes its HubSpot access token at HubSpot and deletes the stored credentials. HubSpot stops listing SynqSlot as a connected app. Contacts and meetings already written stay in HubSpot.

  2. 2

    From HubSpot (uninstall)

In HubSpot: Settings → Integrations → Connected apps → SynqSlot → Actions → Uninstall. HubSpot revokes the token; the next time SynqSlot tries to log a booking it sees the revoked grant, marks the connection as needing a reconnect, and stops trying. Nothing written to HubSpot is removed.

Questions

Which HubSpot scopes does SynqSlot request?

crm.objects.contacts.read — find the contact by email so we never create a duplicate. crm.objects.contacts.write — create the contact or update the properties the invitee provided. crm.objects.meetings.write — log the Meeting on the contact's timeline. No other objects, no deals, no emails, no settings.

Does SynqSlot store my HubSpot data?

No CRM data is stored. SynqSlot keeps only its OAuth tokens (encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM), your HubSpot account id and name for the Integrations card, and a per-booking record that the meeting was logged. See the privacy policy for retention.

Which HubSpot plans work?

Any HubSpot account, including the free CRM. SynqSlot uses the CRM API, which does not require a paid Hub.

Does it log meetings booked outside SynqSlot?

No. Only bookings made through your SynqSlot links are written to HubSpot.

Which SynqSlot plans include HubSpot?

All of them — Solo, Team 5, Team 10 and Custom. The 15-day trial includes it as well. See pricing.
